SYRELI turns 1 year

During its first year of existence, the new French alternative dispute resolution policy SYRELI was a success with the release of more than 120 decisions in a single year!

Launched on 21 November 2011, the SYRELI alternative dispute resolution policy allows trademark owners to claim the ownership of domain names under the main French top level domain .FR. This policy is also applicable to the following ccTLDs operated by the French Registry AFNIC: .RE (Réunion), .TF (French Southern and Antarctic Lands); .YT (Mayotte); .PM (Saint Pierre and Miquelon) and .WF (Wallis and Futuna).

Trademark owners can claim and quickly obtain the transfer or the deletion of any domain name. SYRELI is indeed a quick and an efficient alternative to French courts.
